The picture on this TV is brilliant in High Def. It’s very bright, crystal clear, and truly beautiful. It literally has the best picture of any TV I shopped for, including the Sony’s and Samsung’s. My grandfather watched the NCAA basketball tournament with me last year and during every commercial he would remark, “LG: Life’s Good” because we were enjoying ourselves so much watching the games on the TV (with a Bose 321 home theater system attached). Even several months later, I still love watching HD football and NASCAR races on it. It just doesn’t get any better with the superb LED-LCD picture quality.
The bottom line is that this is the best TV of all my friends and family. This is the best picture you can get without some very expensive 3-D configuration. And using a small Bose 321 home theater (with only two speakers) is perfect for my living room experience. No problems or issues whatsoever. Can not recommend this TV to high price. Easily worth double.

The image of high definition TV is brilliant. It is very bright, clear, and very nice. Literally, the best picture of any TV I bought, including Sony and Samsung. My grandfather watched the tournament NCAA basketball with me last year and for all businesses, observing that “LG: Life is good” because we were amused to watch the games on television (with Bose 321 system home theater attached). Even several months later, I still like watching football in HD and NASCAR races in it. It just does not better image quality than LED-LCD.
Lately, I always have a lot of use out of the USB input for starting, too. I started recording a lot of HD video, the new Flip Mino HD and Kodak cameras Zi10 last month, and both of these cameras have their own USB output. Well, all you have to do is connect directly to the side of the TV and I recently recorded video will automatically start playing in HD. No more burning DVDs or complex multimedia movement from one device to another. This TV is a simple plug and play.

I’ll make this short and to the point. I am a computer technician and I Love being able to customize and tweak my electronics. This LG set gives you plenty of control, so much that I had to call customer service for a few explanations. By the way customer service was fast and efficient, no long waits on hold. My first and ONLY issue with this TV was the “soap opera” look my Blu-rays and programming had. I did some research about this “fake” look and it was a simple fix…turn off Tru Motion. Tru Motion is great for Live programming like Sports, SNL and Nightly shows. For movies, not so much unless they are cartoons.
